Richardson Hartley Law believes it can help investors who may have lost money in Oenofuture Limited to recover their money.
There have been a significant number of complaints from investors who say they have lost money in the scheme.
We believe that we can help clients of Oenofuture Limited to recover money through bank reimbursement schemes. Depending on when the investment was made we may be able to help you recoup your money through the Contingent Reimbursement Model or Mandatory Reimbursement Model. Our experience shows that we need to build up as casebook of evidence to successfully represent your claim and the more clients we have from the same scheme the better our chance of success.
Richardson Hartley Law is happy to work on a no win, no fee basis so you only pay us if we are successful. We also offer capped fees.
Oenofuture Limited, which was part of the Oeno Group, ceased trading towards the end of 2025.
According to Companies House, director, Michael Doerr, resigned in June 2025 and was replaced by Marshall Deutsch. HMRC is reported to have initiated bankruptcy proceedings against Doerr in summer 2025 although it is unclear what happened as a result of the application. It is also noted that the Alcohol Wholesaler Registration Scheme registration for Oenofuture Limited was deregistered on 2 October, 2025.
The Trading Standards notice on the Oenofuture website states: “If you have invested money by purchasing wine or whisky from Oenofuture Limited over the last decade, you need to be aware that you may ultimately lose some or all of your money. It is our current belief that only a small percentage of client wine – perhaps 20% – is held in individual customer accounts that the customer will be able to access. Our understanding is that the remainder of the wine is held in an account controlled by Oenofuture Limited. Over the last month, efforts have been made behind the scenes to transfer as much wine as possible from Oenofuture Limited into individual customer accounts, but this has been a mammoth task and only a relatively small amount of wine has been transferred.”
We work on a no win, no fee basis so you only pay us if we successfully recover your money.
